Presidents Letter – March 2023

Dear Homeowner:

The March Board meeting was held on Monday night, March 13, 2023.

The following items were discussed:

  1. Norgren has completed the work on replacing the ficus bushes at the east end of the pool.
  2. The contract for the sale of the three lots has been signed. The sale price of $100,000 was agreed to. Because of the distance from Poland the construction start date may be as long as two years. The buyers had deposited a $7,000 good faith payment that is refundable.
  3. The board had approved the requirement that all ESA pets must get a renewal letter from their doctor each year.
  4. The new amendments call for background checks on rentals and purchases. Our Purchase and Rental agreements have been modified and we have contracted with a company to do the background checks. The new application fees have been increased to $150.
  5. The four unit building on Doris had rats and Hulett has completed sealing the four units. and removing the rats.
  6. The boards has approved the initiation of fine procedures against the homeowner who has rented a room in violation of our rules.
  7. Discussion about having buddy system for homeowners living alone.
